Growing independent auto repair shop seeking to fill an open Auto Repair Technician position in Conroe, TX. Competitive compensation, vacation, sick, and holiday pay offered. Monday through Friday hours 8 am – 6 pm. Closed on weekends. No phone calls please.

·Undertake maintenance, service and repair activities on vehicles of all types to the highest standard
·Advise and report on vehicle faults and servicing requirements discovered while working on vehicles, including future servicing/repair requirements
·Record all parts, components, lubricants and consumables used
·Ensure that all time spent on jobs is accurately recorded
·To care for customers' vehicles and property and seek to achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction
·Ensure that all work undertaken complies with company and vehicle manufacturers' standards ·To carry out all work in a safe and economical way
·To build up your skills to diagnose faults, carry out tests on vehicles and perform permanent and complete repairs
·To share skills and knowledge to develop others within the workshop
·To enhance the reputation of company at every opportunity when interacting with others

Requirements
·3 plus years experience in the diagnosis, servicing, maintenance and repair of motor vehicles ·Must have own tools
·ASE-certification preferrable but not required
·Must be able to lift heavy engines as jobs may include engine and transmission overhauls. ·Excellent personal and professional ethics
·Must be willing to learn and grow with company
·Be organized and methodical in problem solving
·Keen attention to detail
·Have/willing to undertake, manufacturers' training courses & maintained knowledge of work methods & technical data
-Valid driver's license required -Clean driving record
