Bring CHA-CHING!!  To Your Neighborhood

Yearly,  the AARP Foundation’s Tax-Aide group assists more than 50,000 elderly and low-to-moderate income taxpayers in Houston and surrounding communities.

We are now seeking volunteers to work as tax -preparers, facilitators,  greeters, technology coordinators and translators (speakers of both Spanish and English are especially needed).  

In January, you will learn tax law, basic income tax preparation and the use of the latest electronic filing software in a five-day comprehensive training course.  Having basic computer skills helps.

Tax-Aide asks volunteers to commit to a minimum of four hours per week from February 1 to April 15.
